Weseekto appoint an experienced and collaborative Finance Business Partner to join the Finance Department working across campuses in afulltime ongoing role.
About the role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a finance professional with strong analytical capability and stakeholder engagement skills to providehighqualityfinancial advice and decision support across theSchool. Partnering closely with academic and operational leaders the Finance BusinessPartner plays a key role in budgeting forecasting performance reportingand financial analysis that supports strategic planning andlongtermsustainability.
Working collaboratively within the Finance team this role delivers meaningful insights promotes sound financialgovernanceand builds financial capability across the organisation contributing to informed decisionmaking in a complex multicampus environment.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
Partnering with a portfolio of academic and operational leaders to provide strategicfinancial advice and decision support
Leading budgeting and forecasting processes ensuring alignment with theSchoolsstrategic objectives
Deliveringtimelyandaccuratemanagement reporting including variance analysis and performance insights
Developing financial models scenarioanalysisand business cases to support key initiatives
Promoting strong financial governancecomplianceand accountability across theSchool
Building financial capability among stakeholders through clear communication and guidance
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have:
Demonstrated experience in a finance business partnering or management accounting role
Strong financial modelling analytical andproblemsolvingskills
The ability to translate complex financial information into clear actionable insights
Proven ability to build effective relationships and influence a diverse range of stakeholders
Experience in budgetingforecastingand performance reporting
High levelsof commercial acumen attention to detail and written and verbal communication skills
A tertiary qualification in AccountingFinanceor a related discipline
CA or CPA qualification
A Current Victorian Working with Children Check (Employment)and National Police Check
Experience working in a school or similar complex organisation will be highly regarded.
