Adaptation Technical Officer

About the role:

An exciting opportunity has become available in Wirral Councils Adaptation Services (within Housing Services) we are looking for a dynamic customer focused individual used to working at pace with a focus on delivery to high standards and the ability to work autonomously.

About the candidate:

We would like to hear from you if you have direct experience of facilitating the delivery of Grant funded adaptation schemes and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment specifying and designing adaptation schemes to ensure they meet the determined need of the client and be able to manage multiple projects and ensure delivery of agreed schemes within specified time scales.

You will have the skills to monitor and ensure the works carried out by appropriate contractors in line with CDM to the required standard and ensure compliance with relevant legislation CoP & manufacturers guidance. Ideally you will have experience of liaising and negotiating along with the ability to resolving complaints whilst ensuring that clients are kept fully informed on progress.
