Brazil Technology Payments Software Engineer III

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize database architectures (Oracle PostgreSQL) for high-availability payment systems at scale
• Lead infrastructure engineering projects involving multiple technologies and cloud platforms (AWS Kubernetes)
• Architect deploy and manage Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform at enterprise scale
• Drive capacity planning performance optimization and disaster recovery strategies
• Monitor and optimize system performance using advanced observability tools (Grafana Splunk Dynatrace)
• Identify and resolve complex infrastructure issues; escalate appropriately and mentor team members
• Partner with development and operations teams to ensure systems scale reliably and securely
• Lead technical assessments for migration across cloud platforms and on-premises environments
• Ensure compliance and security standards across all infrastructure components

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience
• 6-7 years of infrastructure engineering or DevOps/SRE experience
• Expert-level knowledge of relational databases (Oracle and/or PostgreSQL)
• Advanced proficiency with AWS and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Proven experience with multi-cloud environments and cloud migration strategies
• Strong knowledge of high-availability disaster recovery and performance optimization
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
• Ability to lead technical decisions and mentor team members
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English
