As a Receptionist youll ensure every patient feels valued from the moment they arrive functioning as the welcoming face of our healthcare facility. Working onsite you will report to the Manager Clinic/Center Administration. Youll manage front desk operations support clinical staff and help maintain a smooth and compassionate environment. This role is ideal for someone who excels in a dynamic setting and enjoys making a positive impact on others.As a Receptionist youll:
- Greet patients and visitors warmly in person and over the phone creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments manage calendars and collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient flow.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using EMR and CRM systems.
- Update patient accounts and collect copays when needed.
- Handle incoming calls respond to inquiries and provide general information and empathy.
- Keep the reception area clean stocked and organized.
- Help with supply orders inventory management and courier coordination.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year experience in healthcare customer service background in retail hospitality or call centers also considered
- Convey information and maintain a positive tone during calls
- Experience coordinating tasks resources and schedules to ensure efficient workflow
- Experience using MS Office tools for reporting data analysis and workflow optimization
- Experience improving patient care and experience
- This is a patient-facing role and part of our Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. We require TB screening upon hire.
Preferred
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Experience with EMR Systems (Electronic Medical Records)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
