Learn more at Viant Medicals website or on the site:Our Brimfield facility specializes in medical device assembly finishing and packaging supporting high-quality scalable production within a regulated the role:The Operations Manager is a member of the Plant Leadership Team and will have 3 Supervisors reporting directly to him/her along with a broader team of 75 machinists and finishers. The Operations Manager will be responsible for driving Safety Quality Delivery and Cost through the organization utilizing Continuous Improvement and strong leadership :Develop and manage the facilities organization and personnel to most effectively achieve customer the Quality System and profit targets while maximizing the development and execution of facility operating manufacturing distribution and support overhead functions to deliver product and services at or above customer and manages a culture of continuous improvement installing and successfully executing advanced visual flow manufacturing and maintain a safety culture by leading EHS initiatives and supporting the EHS committeeAbility to work with Supply chain Manager to develop and execute Capacity Plans supported by present ERP systems and customer forecastsWork collaboratively with Engineering and Quality to successfully and seamlessly deliver to customers an integrated set of services and Sales activities within the facility including quoting and customer collaboratively with Director of Operations to successfully and seamlessly deliver to customers an integrated set of services and a resource and mentor to other members of the management team with a responsibility to develop and executes personnel actions including hiring promotions performance reviews and any disciplinary measuresResponsible for implementing cost improvement programs through Lean Manufacturing techniques and drive successful business excellence programs for output timeliness quality and cost to standards are consistent with customer requirements and company strategyDetermines and implements operational capability required to support corporate growth and manufacturing operations costs through innovation and a culture that strives for perfect fill-rates and zero with all work rules including those pertaining to safety health quality and Quality Management other duties as Requirements:Bachelors Degree in Engineering Engineering Management or a related field (or equivalent experience).8 years of proven leadership experience in a world-class manufacturing environment preferably industry experience in aerospace automotive or medical devices (preferred) or any regulated manufacturing in high-mix low-volume manufacturing environments with the ability to manage complexity and variability in production knowledge of machining metal and plastic processing fabrication and product experience in production and capacity planning including labor capacity computer skills including proficiency in Excel PowerPoint and data management with Kinaxis and ERP systems such as Oracle or knowledge and commitment to safety programs including EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) Sigma Green or Black Belt certification and/or experience with Lean Manufacturing Kaizen and continuous improvement to effectively manage diverse manufacturing styles and personalities integrating the benefits of experience with modern technologies approaches and leadership team-building and high-performance team development in customer interaction problem-solving and driving solutions to meet customer -depth knowledge of FDA Good Manufacturing Practices ISO 13485:2003 and relevant regulatory -on leader with a track record of building and sustaining high-performing understanding of P&L management value drivers and experience in developing and executing operating written and verbal communication skills both one-on-one and in group thinker with the ability to develop long-term plans and conceptualize the facilitys future (6 months 1 year 2 years 5 years).Rational thinker with sound business judgment and decision-making :Medical dental and vision benefits-effective date of hire!Company-paid life insurance and disability benefitsGenerous Paid time off and 10 paid Holidays401k Plan with Company MatchTuition ReimbursementVoluntary Universal Life and Long-Term CareVoluntary Legal PlanPet InsuranceHome Ownership ProgramWe offer market competitive salary range for this role is $115-$135k.
