WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR
Supervision of residents.
Work schedule:Tuesday through Saturday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM.
All new employees are required to complete a 2-week training program.
The first week of training will be mostly completed during Monday-Friday First Shifthours 8:00 AM- 4:00 PM
Ability to be a positive role model.
Provide fair and constructive discipline to the residents.
Maintain security and safety of facility and residents at all times.
Maintain complete and accurate resident records.
Ability to manage personal stress.
Administer appropriate medication(s).
Knowledge of policy and procedure manual.
Transportation of residents.
Maintain laundry and general cleaning for each unit.
Ability to work with youth of all ages.
Previous work with juveniles highly preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency with interpersonal and writing skills.
Excellent communication time management and organizational skills.
Screen all admissions/referrals for appropriateness of Hillcrests programming.
Qualifications
WHATS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
Must be 21 years old.
High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelors degree in Social Work Psychology Sociology or a closely related Human Services field is highly preferred.
Must have valid drivers license and qualify for Companys vehicle liability insurance.
Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks fingerprinting CPS check sex offender registry check and drug screen.
