This role is in support of Cencoras global logistics and storage services marketed through our World Courier business.

In this position you will be responsible for coordinating a fleet of drivers to make collections and deliveries of time and temperature sensitive consignments across the Stuttgart region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Allocations of collections and deliveries to Stuttgart driving team - arranging the transport of time critical and temperature controlled pharmaceutical shipments

• Route planning as efficiently as possible as well as arranging ad-hoc changes as required

• Communicating to drivers the relevant information appropriate to the consignment

• Preparation of Specialist packaging and temperature controlled consignments which include the filling of Liquid nitrogen dry shippers

• Refurbishment of packaging and general warehouse duties

• Downloading and processing of temperature control data

Requirements:

• High level of concentration and attention to detail and the ability to understand and distribute varied information during critical and busy times.

• At least 3 years of driver dispatch/controlling/transport planning experience

• Previous experience in freight or courier industry - ideally working with temperature controlled time sensitive deliveries such as pharmaceuticals

• Extensive knowledge of the country with a good general knowledge of the Stuttgart road network

• Adaptable and able to perform well under pressure

• Well-developed prioritization skills

• Strong verbal and written communication

• Excellent problem solving skills

• Must have the ability to interact with associates at all levels.
