Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
1.Planning Field Supervision & Execution
Manage the project frominitialplanning and estimating through completion fostering strong relationships with clients architects and interior designers.
Managesix-monthto two-year buildsand renovationsincludingday to daysite operations ensuring smooth workflow on time on budget and high productivity.
Enforce adherence toproject drawings specifications andquality expectations.
2. Communication & Coordination
Establish strong working communication with clientsand everyone on the team ofarchitects and interiordesignersso everyonestaysaligned on plans schedule and budget.
Coordinate andsupervise subcontractors vendors and field conflicts and adjustments.
Ensure project reports and weekly updates are provided to the President to keep him informed of all company projects and progress.
3.Scheduling&Job Cost Reporting Budget Management
Develop andmaintainthe construction schedule.
Monitor daily and weekly progress and implement adjustments to stay ontrackincludingchange orders when necessary.
Ensuretimelyreceipt of subcontractor and vendor invoices so client is billed appropriately at the end of every month. Track variances change orders and clientapprovals/decisions.
4. Risk Management & Problem Solving
Identifypotential project issues delaysorclient challengesand promptly escalate them to thePresident.
Collaborate withtheSuperintendent Teamtoleverage best practices anddevelop practical solutions to address challenges as they arise.
Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or GED required; Education in Construction Management Project Management Engineering Business or a related field is preferred.
Experience
5 years of hands-on experience in custom home construction including 2 years in a leadership role in the field and operations is preferred. Less experience with a driven proactive attitude will be strongly considered.
Experience working on projects in the $2M-$10MM rangeispreferred.
Strongproficiencyin Microsoft 365/Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
