Job Summary

Position Summary
UNC Horizons at Wake seeks a two-year time-limited Reentry Project Coordinator to provide clinical supervisory and programmatic leadership for a justice-informed behavioral health initiative serving pregnant parenting and single women with substance use and co-occurring health conditions. The position is responsible for identifying recruiting and enrolling a minimum of 80 participants into services annually; conducting comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnosing mental health conditions using the DSM -5 manual; and coordinating service linkage with behavioral health and community providers to ensure continuity of care. The Reentry Project Coordinator oversees project staff provides training and clinical guidance and supports interdisciplinary service delivery and ensure clinical services are adequately staffed. The role also leads data monitoring and evaluation activities including surveys outcome tracking and reporting and participates in biweekly evaluation meetings to identify program progress gaps and improvement strategies. Additionally the position strengthens partnerships with justice-involved agencies and community stakeholders through ongoing outreach and representation at local regional and state events to enhance program visibility and impact.

Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Must have experience related to behavioral health services preferably substance use disorder treatment. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Must be knowledgeable of the impact of trauma stigma substance use and incarceration among pregnant parenting and single women. Must be able to develop strong partnerships with community agencies.

Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
This position requires the ability to conduct accurate clinical diagnoses using DSM -5 criteria. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong behavioral health knowledge in the assessment and treatment of substance use disorders and trauma among women with a demonstrated interest in serving women who are incarcerated or have justice-involved histories. The ideal candidate will also exhibit an evidence-based leadership or managerial framework and the ability to apply this perspective in practice. Experience working within interdisciplinary teams and training or leading behavioral health professionals (e.g. Peer Support Specialists Qualified Professionals case managers paraprofessionals and related staff) is preferred. Ability to communicate and translate a managerial or leadership model when working in a behavioral health agency Provisional or full clinical license ( LCSW LCAS LCMHC LMFT LCSWA LCASA LMFT -A) Experience in diagnosing and treating behavioral health conditions Ability to manage or lead project with minimal oversight Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to develop strong partnerships with community agencies and work with women and families with diverse and cultural backgrounds Masters degree in social work from an accredited school of social work; or Masters degree in counseling in a human services field and one year of social work or counseling
