Assistant Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Service Manager to support daily operations within our service department. This role plays a critical part in delivering an exceptional customer experience ensuring efficient workflow and supporting the service team in achieving performance goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Service Manager in overseeing daily service department operations
• Support scheduling dispatching and workflow to maximize efficiency and productivity
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
• Monitor repair orders for accuracy completeness and timely processing
• Coach and support service advisors and technicians to meet performance expectations
• Help manage department metrics including labor sales efficiency and customer retention
• Maintain compliance with company policies manufacturer standards and safety regulations
• Step in to manage operations in the absence of the Service Manager

Qualifications

• Previous experience in automotive service (advisor dispatcher or management role preferred)
• Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• High level of accountability and attention to detail
• Proficiency with dealership management systems (CDK experience a plus)
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
