Job Summary

Description

As a Procurement Project Specialist II here at Honeywell you will play a key role in managing procurement projects that align with business leadership objectives. You will ensure compliance with company policies and regulations while driving procurement activities for materials and services. This role requires a proactive approach to managing supplier relationships and supporting project teams to achieve operational excellence.

You will report directly to ourSenior Project Procurement Managerand you will work out of our Charlotte NC location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement processes support project execution and contribute to the overall success of the supply chain and business operations.



Responsibilities
  • Manage procurement projects ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Program Management Contracts and Finance to support procurement activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Evaluate bids and proposals ensuring compliance with program requirements and company standards.
  • Maintain and update procurement records and support financial forecasting related to procurement activities.
  • Identify and resolve procurement issues proactively escalating when necessary to maintain project schedules and budgets.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 3 or more years of procurement or subcontracts administration experience within a corporate or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes contract management and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Expertise in evaluating bids and proposals to ensure alignment with company policies and project requirements.
  • Proficiency with procurement software and tools including SAP and MS Office Suite to manage procurement activities efficiently.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle Procurement Data reporting and simple data analysis.
