Job Summary
What a day looks like
As our Site QHSE & Food Safety Compliance Manager you are the onsite authority for OSHA EHS SQF GMPs sanitation pest control product quality and regulatory reporting. Your morning might start with a plant walkthrough to verify machine guarding and housekeeping followed by coaching a crossfunctional team from Operations HR Maintenance and Corporate on new safety procedures. By midday youre reviewing quality audit findings validating SQF documentation and confirming runorder specifications for the next production the afternoon you could be closing out a root cause and corrective action (RCCA) from a recent near miss updating SDS files and plant security protocols and preparing for a customer or regulatory audit.
EHS Safety & Compliance Leadership
- Design implement and sustain site safety policies procedures and training programs.
- Lead investigations into incidents injuries illnesses and near misses; drive corrective and preventive actions to completion.
- Compile and maintain OSHA logs and other required regulatory reports.
- Conduct routine health safety and environmental inspections and audits across the facility.
- Administer Workers Compensation claims and partner with HR on returntowork planning.
- Chair the site Safety Committee and foster engagement at all levels.
- Maintain SDS records and oversee plant security practices.
- Coordinate and host regulatory inspections and thirdparty audits.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Quality Food Safety & SQF Ownership
- Build execute and continuously improve quality management and food safety programs.
- Serve as the SQF Practitioner; protect SQF system integrity and certification status.
- Ensure teams adhere to plant rules and procedures that support customer service including:
- Following defined runorder specifications for every product.
- Meeting prerequisite programs consistent with the SQF Code for the Manufacture of Food Packaging and all food safety obligations.
- Complying with all GMPs aligned to Food Safety Requirements.
- Lead sanitation and pest control programs.
- Plan and conduct internal quality audits; retain inspection and verification records.
- Support customer audits and address quality inquiries promptly.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Training Continuous Improvement & Reporting
- Deliver safety quality and compliance training for all levels.
- Track analyze and report key safety and quality metrics to drive accountability.
- Lead RCCAs process optimization projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical compliance guidance to production and support teams.
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent practical experience.
- 47 years in a manufacturing environment focused on safety and/or quality compliance.
- Background with OSHA SQF and GMPs preferred.

Work Environment
Manufacturing setting with exposure to noise heat dust and industrial equipment. Frequent presence on the production floor is expected.
Preferred Certification
- OSHA 10Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
Compensation & Benefits
Estimated base pay for this role is $80000$90000 plus bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package. The posted range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for this position across U.S. locations. Individual compensation will vary based on jobrelated skills experience and education/training and offers are generally not extended at the very top of the range.
