Job Summary
Seeking an experienced and motivatedCommercial Lines Account Managerto manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance clients support team growth and foster strong client relationships. This position requires excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills to deliver tailored insurance solutions that meet client needs.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients through exceptional customer service and proactive support.
- Manage new business policy renewals endorsements cancellations and claims in an efficient and client-focused manner.
- Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to negotiate optimal coverage and pricing options for clients.
- Assess client needs recommend insurance products and provide tailored solutions.
- Educate clients on policy terms coverage options risk management strategies and changes.
- Ensure prompt accurate handling of client requests inquiries and transactions.
- Stay up to date with industry trends regulatory changes and insurance products.
- Maintain accurate client files and account documentation in line with company policies.
- Proactively identify and address potential service issues providing timely resolutions.
- Assist the sales team in onboarding new clients and cross-selling additional products.
Qualifications/Requirements
Required:
- Experience:Minimum X years of experience in commercial insurance account management or a related field.
- Education:High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelors degree preferred).
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products coverages and industry practices.
- Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in insurance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred:
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
- Professional designations such as CIC CPCU ARM or CISR are a plus.
