About the role

Were looking for a confident and capable Client Service Administrator to join our team. This is a varied hands-on role supporting our Specialist Advisory Team with a particular focus on SMSF administration. Youll work closely with a small team but the role will suit someone who is confident working independently thinks on their feet and enjoys figuring things out without needing constant direction.

There will be regular client contact over the phone so youll need to be confident professional and approachable while following through on queries and making sure nothing slips through the cracks. Were looking for someone who takes pride in getting the details right and who understands the importance of accuracy responsiveness and client service.

About the Accounting team

What youll be doing

  • Client communication being a key point of contact for clients managing phone calls queries and follow-ups in a professional and timely way
  • SMSF administration supporting the team with day-to-day SMSF-related admin tasks and keeping work moving accurately and efficiently
  • Autonomous workflow management working independently to prioritise tasks problem-solve issues and work through matters with sound judgement
  • Accuracy and detail preparing checking and maintaining documents and records with a strong focus on quality and consistency
  • Offshore support coordination managing and guiding offshore support to help keep tasks moving and ensure work is completed to a high standard
  • Team support assisting the broader Specialist Advisory Team with general administration and coordination as needed
  • System and process management keeping files records and systems up to date and making sure work is followed through to completion



Requirements

  • Experience: Previous administration experience ideally within an accounting or professional services environment
  • Detail focused: A strong eye for detail and a genuine commitment to doing things properly
  • Initiative: Someone who can think for themselves work things out and take ownership of their work
  • Client confidence: Comfortable speaking with clients on the phone and building professional relationships
  • Team fit: A reliable adaptable team player who works well in a small team environment with plenty of autonomy
  • Systems savvy: Confident using Microsoft Office and business systems with a willingness to learn new platforms
