Job Description

• Advising customers on diode laser applications in material processing
• Supporting the global sales team with all application-related inquiries
• Planning conducting documenting and following up on customer meetings both internally and externally
• Processing of customer samples in the application lab and at the customers site
• Development of new applications in collaboration with sales and R&D
• Support for application-specific customer issues
• Maintenance and servicing of equipment in the application lab
• User training on material processing for internal and external customers

Qualification

• Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent technical training with additional professional development
• Experience working with industrial laser systems is a plus
• Knowledge of laser-based manufacturing processes (e.g. laser cutting welding and structuring)
• Basic knowledge of materials science and manufacturing technology
• Proficiency in common software tools (e.g. MS Office data analysis tools)
• Analytical and experimental thinking skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Highly customer-oriented with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
• Team player with interdisciplinary thinking
• Confidence in public speaking
• Very good German and English language skills
