This role supports major projects capital programs and largescale project portfolios by assisting with program setup project controls coordination documentation and governance. The position partners closely with program managers project managers cost managers schedulers general contractors and owners representatives to ensure consistent organized and welltracked delivery from preconstruction through closeout.
Key Responsibilities
- Support program and project setup including establishing project structures workflows documentation standards and reporting templates.
- Assist program and project managerswith planning scheduling budgeting and coordination across multiple concurrent projects.
- Maintain programlevel documentation including project charters risk logs action trackers decision logs and governance materials.
- Track deliverables milestones and dependenciesacross projects and portfolios ensuring accurate updates in dashboards schedules and reporting tools.
- Coordinate with cost managers and schedulersto consolidate updates validate data inputs and support forecasting and reporting cycles.
- Liaise with general contractors consultants and owners representativesto gather information clarify requirements and support issue resolution.
- Assist with procurement and contract administration including gathering quotes preparing comparison summaries and tracking approvals and documentation.
- Prepare program and project reports including status updates financial summaries schedule snapshots and executivelevel presentations.
- Document meeting minutes decisions and followup actionsfor internal and external project meetings.
- Conduct research and analysisto support program planning cost benchmarking risk assessments and delivery strategies.
- Learn and apply project management and project controls tools including scheduling cost management and collaboration platforms.
Qualifications :
- Seek to pursue a Bachelors Degree in Construction Management Project Management Engineering Real Estate and Development or a related field.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic program environment.
- Demonstrated initiative problemsolving ability and a drive to add value.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with project teams consultants and external partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in largescale capital programs project controls and program governance.
