About the Team and Role

This is a remarkable opportunity to join eBay as CFO for Germany and Central Europe. As a key member of our leadership team you will build the regions direction and help develop an environment where both people and business can thrive.

As CFO you will play a pivotal role in crafting not only financial outcomes but also the way we lead collaborate and innovate. You will work across diverse teams and perspectives bringing together analytical strength good judgment and a forward-looking approach.

What you will accomplish:

• Shape regional strategy by partnering with leadership to guide decision-making using financial insights and business context

• Own and drive the regions P&L with accountability for financial performance profitability and sustainable growth

• Align financial planning budgeting and forecasting with strategic priorities to support effective execution

• Enable high-quality data-informed decisions by identifying risks challenging assumptions and providing balanced perspectives

• Guide investment decisions through clear prioritization and disciplined resource allocation

• Collaborate across a matrixed organization to strengthen alignment communication and trust across teams

• Advance the use of data analytics and AI to improve forecasting efficiency and business outcomes

What you will bring:

• Advanced degree in Business Accounting Finance or equivalent experience

• Experience leading a global finance function at director level or above ideally within ecommerce

• Proven ability to partner with senior executives and contribute to strategic business leadership

• Strong cross-functional collaboration experience including developing business and investment plans

• Analytical approach with the ability to use data and insights to inform decisions

• Experience aligning resource allocation with business strategy and translating complex operations into financial outcomes

• Leadership experience in building developing and supporting high-performing teams within a matrixed environment

• Fluency in German language a plus
