- Support the Underwriting team in scrubbing organizing and analyzing account specific loss and exposure data to aid in pricing large individual risks.
- Assist in regular preparation and analysis of proprietary statistical data to inform loss costs severity distributions and other pricing considerations.
- Interface with Underwriting and Actuarial departments to ensure data quality standards are met.
- Assist in the development/maintenance/distribution of actuarial reports and databases.
- Provide support in the analysis of various segments of the business for claim trends & profitability.
- Assist the Pricing Actuary with various data requests and pricing analyses.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
- Excellent capability to organize and analyze various forms of statistical data
- Some actuarial / applicable problem-solving experience preferred
- 2-5 years relevant work experience
Education Requirement
- Bachelors degree required (or equivalent work experience)
Additional Company Details
The company offers a competitive compensation plan and robust benefits package for full time regular employees which for this role includes:
Base Salary Range: $65000 - 70000
The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors including the scope complexity and location of the role; the skills education training credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
Eligible to participate in the annual discretionary bonus program
