Parts DriverShop Assistant

Luther Mazda of Kansas City is seeking a reliable and motivated Parts Driver/Shop Assistant to join our team in Kansas City MO. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of our parts department and supporting the service shop with timely parts delivery and general assistance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver automotive parts promptly and accurately to customers and service technicians.
• Assist the parts department with inventory management organization and stocking.
• Support the service shop with various tasks including cleaning parts preparation and tool organization.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate effectively with team members and customers.
• Ensure all parts and equipment are handled with care and stored correctly to prevent damage.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while driving and working in the shop.
• Communicate and assist technicians proactively to help increase shop throughput and efficiency.

Requirements

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy parts and equipment.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-service oriented attitude.
• Previous experience in automotive parts delivery or shop assistance is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
