Position Overview

Ivy Academy is seeking a dependable hardworking seasonal maintenance and janitorial team member to support the daily upkeep and appearance of our 612 school campus. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work takes pride in maintaining clean and safe environments and can tackle a variety of practical tasks. Hours are flexible and we are committed to working with the right candidate to meet both school needs and the needs of our newest team member. The position is interim but may have the opportunity for permanent/full-time starting in October.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a zero-turn mower to maintain school grounds
• Perform pressure washing of sidewalks buildings and outdoor areas
• Complete minor repairs and handyman tasks (e.g. fixing fixtures tightening hardware small repairs)
• Conduct routine janitorial duties including cleaning common areas and responding to occasional messes
• Assist with general campus cleanup and maintenance projects
• Support staff with facility-related needs as they arise
• Help maintain a safe clean and welcoming school environment

Qualifications

• Experience with zero-turn mowers preferred
• Basic handyman or maintenance skills required
• Ability to operate pressure washers and common maintenance tools
• Reliable punctual and able to work independently
• Comfortable performing physical work including lifting bending climbing a ladder and working outdoors
• Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
• Prior school or facilities experience is a plus but not required
