Role: Alarms System Implementation Specialist
Contract Length: 21 Months
Location: Salisbury (Full-time onsite)
Rate: 670/day Umbrella OR 493.63/day PAYE (Inside IR35)
Security Clearance: Active SC Clearance required Sole UK Nationality
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Alarms System Implementation Specialist with strong expertise in EEMUA 191 to support the delivery of a site-wide alarm management programme within a high-hazard environment.
This role will focus on adapting overarching alarm philosophies and policies to suit the specific operational needs of complex facilities. You will be responsible for producing clear detailed and practical documentation to ensure compliant and effective alarm management across multiple environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Adapt and implement site-wide alarm management philosophy in line with EEMUA 191
- Develop detailed facility-specific alarm management documentation
- Ensure operators can correctly interpret and apply alarm procedures
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to design and deliver a comprehensive implementation plan
- Support both immediate delivery and long-term capability development
- Lead the upskilling of existing personnel to ensure sustainable alarm management practices
- Contribute to building a compliant lab-wide alarm management framework
Technical Requirements
- Demonstrable hands-on experience with industrial alarm and control systems including:
- Trend
- Vista
- Schneider Systems
- EcoStruxure
- Saulter Systems
- Ability to configure interpret and optimise alarm systems
- Strong understanding of system integrity and compliance in complex environments
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven background in alarm systems
- Experience implementing policy or process frameworks
- Strong stakeholder management capability
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Highly proactive self-motivated and adaptable
