TheAlberta New Home Warranty Program Group of Companies (ANHWP Group) isAlbertas most experienced and most trusted new home warranty provider andeducator for homebuilders. As Albertas leader in new home warranty productsand services for 50 years we continue to raise the bar to meet the needs ofhomeowners and our Builder Members.

Thisposition resides with The Alberta New Home Warranty Program (ANHWP) and worksalongside The New Home Warranty Insurance (Canada) Corporation (NHWICC) and theProfessional Home Builders Institute of Alberta (PHBI) and Dweller HomeServices.

Accountable for:

The Summer Student is accountable for working closely with various departmentsand providing administrative support.

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of the Administrative Admin are:

Assist with scheduling

Support the publishing reviewing andquality control of inspection reports.

Help build and develop analytics andreporting tools to support operational insights.

Support general administrative and operationaltasks as assigned.

Other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience:

Strong positive attitude and acustomer-focused approach throughout the day

Ability to think outside the box takeinitiative and contribute as an effective team player

Excellent organizational skills and attentionto detail

Strong communication and interpersonalabilities

Strong working knowledge of apps &web-based software


Must be between the ages of 16 and 30 as this position is partially funded by the Canada Summer Student grant program

Currently enrolled in a post-secondary education in business administration or related area and returning to a post-secondary institution following your work term. Candidates must be at least in the 2ndyear of their Program

  • Available and legally authorized to work in Canada for a 14-week full time work-term
  • Previous work experience with administrative duties and supporting teams would be an asset
  • The ability to collaborate with teams strong communication and positive attitude all desired skills for this position

Knowledge:

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeSuite (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook)

Basic working knowledge of ArtificialIntelligence tools and ability to use them to support tasks

Demonstrated problem-solving abilities andcomfort working in fast-moving environments
