Job Summary

Join Manulifes Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS) Delivery team as a Senior IT Project Manager where you will lead highimpact technology initiatives that enable critical business capabilities across the this role youll deliver complex enterprise infrastructure and services projects while partnering closely with business and technology leaders to support Manulifes longterm strategy operational resilience and customer outcomes.

Reporting to the Program Director Network Data Center and End User Services youll manage projects that are visible at senior leadership levels and play a key role in how technology supports Manulifes evolving business needs.


Position Responsibilities:

Project Delivery & Execution

  • Lead endtoend delivery of enterprise technology projects from business case development through implementation and closure

  • Manage scope schedule budget risks and dependencies across complex multiteam initiatives

  • Deliver projects primarily using waterfall methodologies incorporating Agile practices where appropriate

  • Ensure outcomes are aligned with business objectives and technology standards

Stakeholder & Team Leadership

  • Partner with technology teams application owners vendors and business stakeholders to align goals and expectations

  • Act as a trusted liaison between project teams sponsors and client groups

  • Build alignment and consensus across crossfunctional teams without formal authority

  • Clearly define roles responsibilities and resource requirements

Risk Governance & Financial Management

  • Identify assess and manage risks and issues; escalate appropriately to ensure transparency and timely resolution

  • Manage project budgets forecasts and financial reporting

  • Ensure projects adhere to Manulifes global project governance frameworks standards and controls

Communication & Continuous Improvement

  • Provide clear concise and regular communication to project teams sponsors and senior leaders

  • Present complex technical and business information in a clear and actionable way

  • Identify opportunities to improve project delivery methods tools and processes

  • Support team success by coaching or mentoring lessexperienced project professionals when needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Several years of experience leading complex IT or technology projects in large or enterprise environments

  • Experience delivering enterprise infrastructure platform network security or shared services initiatives

  • Strong skills in stakeholder engagement risk management and transparent project delivery

  • Comfort managing budgets forecasts and crossteam dependencies

  • Ability to navigate change and operate effectively in a crossfunctional evolving environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent professional experience

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Agile or related project management certification

  • Experience working in regulated or largescale enterprise environments such as financial services

  • Understanding of how technology enables enterprise and business strategy

  • Awareness of the full IT delivery lifecycle and technology stack

  • Strategic mindset with consideration for both short and longterm outcomes

Salary range is expected to be between

$113000.00 CAD - $163000.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge skills qualifications experience and education/training.
