About the Job

Are you ready to take the lead on impactful large-scale construction projects that shape communities and drive sustainability As theConstruction Superintendent of Capital Projects youll play a key leadership role reporting to theManager of Capital Projectsand will lead the delivery team with the Energy & Technical Services team based in Niagara Falls this role youll collaborate with Health & Safety Environmental Performance Sales Marketing and Operations to deliver projects across a wide variety of business lines touchinga great numberof construction projects include; earthmoving and large-scale site works commercial buildings processing facilities as well as energy production from landfill gas including electricity and renewable will also work collaborativelywith Project Managers as we deliver infrastructure and operational facilities to the broader Walker Industries family of companies. Salary ranges from $90000-$115000 based on experience and qualifications.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Oversee daily construction activities across waste management renewable energy organics processing utilities and civil works.
  • Supervise subcontractors and operators to ensure work meets drawings specifications and company standards.
  • Coordinate sitelogistics sequencing and resource allocation for efficient execution.
  • Conduct regular site inspections tomonitorprogress quality safety and environmental compliance.
  • Lead toolbox talks hazard assessments safety audits and incident investigations.
  • Interpret drawings and specifications providing direction to crews and contractors.
  • Verify field conditions quantities measurements and alignment.
  • Assist with RFIs field changes and drawing updates.
  • Support quality control to ensure materials and installations meet design standards.
  • Track production labor materials and equipment; prepare regular reports.
  • Identifyrisks delays and scope changes recommending corrective actions.
  • Review andvalidatetimesheets progress claims and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate site logs inspection records and as-built/redline drawings.

Heres What You Need

  • 23-year Degree or Diploma in construction related field or equivalent field experience.
  • 4-5years experiencein the Construction industry.
  • Valid Ontario G Class Drivers Licence.
  • Strong knowledge across construction disciplines including engineering estimating scheduling contracting and health & safety.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and personalities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word ExcelProjectand Outlook).
