Job Summary
The Department of Athletics at Wofford College a member of the Southern Conference is seeking applications for an Athletics Marketing & Game Operations Intern. Wofford College sponsors 20 NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletic programs.
This is a 10-month internship beginning in July 2026 and concluding in May 2027. The position will be responsible for the following duties:
Assist in the preparation and execution of gameday operations for various intercollegiate athletic events.
Support the setup and breakdown of Wofford Athletics events including equipment facilities and promotional materials.
Develop and implement initiatives to enhance fan engagement and overall game presentation.
Create and execute scripts and timing sheets for all home events including the coordination of promotional activities.
Assist with the creation of graphics and creative content to promote athletic programs.
Represent Wofford Athletics at community events to increase brand awareness.
Support community outreach and engagement efforts within the Spartanburg community.
Assist with administrative tasks and other duties as assigned by athletic department staff.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Assistant AD for Marketing and Video.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interest or experience in athletics marketing event management or game operations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience with graphic design or creative content development is a plus (Adobe Creative Suite preferred).
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
