Job Description & Summary

At PwC our people in finance focus on providing financial advice and strategic guidance to clients helping them optimise their financial performance and make informed business decisions. These individuals handle financial analysis budgeting forecasting and risk management.

The Research / Pre-Due Diligence Analyst is responsible for conducting preliminary research and initial evaluation of potential projects investments or acquisitions. This role is essential for identifying risks opportunities and gathering key information to determine whether to proceed with the formal due diligence process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market and sector analysis to understand the targets context.
  • Collect and evaluate preliminary financial operational and legal information.
  • Identify critical areas and potential risks requiring further analysis.
  • Prepare executive reports with findings and preliminary recommendations.
  • Support the definition of scope and requirements for the due diligence phase.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams (legal finance operations) to obtain relevant information.
  • Maintain updated documentation and databases related to the analyses performed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Economics Industrial Engineering or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis consulting auditing or M&A-related areas.
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis and business evaluation.
  • Advanced analytical and research skills.
  • Ability to handle large volumes of information and synthesize it clearly.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and databases.
  • Advanced written and spoken English.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Competencies:

  • Experience in due diligence or M&A processes.
  • Knowledge and experience in financial modeling.

  • Understand the importance of have a correct information management
  • Knowledge of Information Security and Data Protection
  • Correct Information Security Management
