Position Summary
A Senior Transactional Practice Assistant is needed to support multiple attorneys in a fast-paced transactional environment. This role combines advanced legal support with high-level administrative responsibilities playing a key part in managing workflows coordinating tasks and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage calendars schedules deadlines and email communications
- Prepare draft format and proofread legal documents and correspondence
- Handle legal filings with courts and relevant entities
- Act as a point of contact for clients managing calls and communications
- Review and edit monthly client billing and invoices
- Maintain and update internal procedures and workflows
- Support attorneys with complex transactional tasks and projects
- Provide guidance and backup support to other team members
Required Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in a law firm supporting senior attorneys or partners
- Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook Word and Excel
- Familiarity with legal billing and document management systems (preferred)
- Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Close attention to detail and proofreading accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $70000 $80000 annually (non-exempt)
- Performance-based bonus eligibility
