Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Safety Manager (Part-Time) to oversee and improve safety performance across active construction sites. This role is responsible for ensuring OSHA compliance hazard prevention risk management and EHS program execution in a fast-paced commercial construction environment.
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in construction safety management OSHA regulations inspections incident investigations and safety training. You will play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture and reducing jobsite risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce OSHA DOT and site-specific safety regulations across construction projects
- Conduct regular site safety audits inspections and risk assessments
- Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive safety measures
- Lead incident investigations near-miss reporting and root cause analysis
- Maintain OSHA logs safety documentation certifications and compliance records
- Develop and deliver safety training and toolbox talks for field teams
- Support workers compensation cases and EHS reporting requirements
- Collaborate with project managers to implement site safety plans
Qualifications:
- 3 years of construction safety or EHS experience OR Bachelors in EHS or related field
- OSHA 30 certification required
- Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and compliance requirements
- Experience with safety audits incident investigations and documentation control
- Excellent communication training and leadership skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple job sites
