Job Overview:
An experienced System Engineer is needed to support modernization initiatives within complex operational environments. This role focuses on evaluating emerging technologies supporting system integration efforts and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance mission capabilities. This position is fully on-site in Honolulu HI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate emerging technologies for operational use
- Identify system integration challenges and assess technical risks
- Support planning and execution of demonstrations and experimentation efforts
- Develop technical documentation assessments and briefings
- Collaborate with engineering teams operational units and acquisition stakeholders
- Assist in transitioning validated technologies into broader implementation pipelines
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- 10 years of experience (Senior level) or 15 years (SME level)
- Active Top Secret clearance
- Background supporting defense systems or technology development programs
- Strong understanding of system design integration and risk analysis
- Active Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- DAWIA Engineering certification or equivalent
- Experience with major acquisition programs (ACAT) urgent operational needs or adaptive acquisition frameworks
- Background in systems engineering or complex system integration environments
