Job Overview:
Seeking a seasoned System Engineer to support advanced modernization efforts within complex operational environments. This role is centered on assessing emerging technologies supporting integration initiatives and partnering with cross-functional teams to enhance mission effectiveness. This position is fully on-site in Fort Belvoir VA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess new and emerging technologies for potential operational use
• Identify integration challenges and analyze technical risks across systems
• Support the planning and execution of technology demonstrations and experimental initiatives
• Prepare technical documentation reports and leadership briefings
• Collaborate with engineering teams operational stakeholders and acquisition personnel
• Assist with transitioning validated technologies into scalable implementation pathways

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• 10 years of experience for senior-level candidates or 15 years for subject matter experts
• Active Top Secret security clearance
• Experience supporting defense systems or advanced technology development programs
• Strong knowledge of systems design integration processes and risk analysis methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

• DAWIA Engineering certification or equivalent credential
• Experience with major acquisition programs (ACAT) urgent operational needs or adaptive acquisition models
• Background working in systems engineering or complex integration environments
