Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Mechanical Engineer Intern to join our team onsite in North Mankato MN.
Work Authorization: To be considered for Taylor opportunities candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
Work Shift:
- Onsite Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Your Responsibilities:
- Designs develops and tests all aspects of mechanical components equipment and machinery
- Apply knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as product conveying systems instruments controls robots machines etc.
- May be involved in fabrication operation application installation and/or repair of mechanical products
- Work with a project team to develop concepts and design solutions for automated and robotic equipment
- Resolve design and functional issues that arise during system setup and installation
- Work collaboratively with the Mechanical/Automation Engineer team
You Must Have:
- Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Engineering
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts practices and procedures within the field
- Knowledge of Design Automation and Mechanical Assembly
- Experience with Inventor/AutoCAD
- Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills
The anticipated hourly range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors which may include as applicable the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position years of relevant experience specific and unique skills level of education attained certifications or other professional licenses held and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporations total compensation and benefits package for employee.
