Job Title: Chief Accountant (Hospitality Industry)

Location: Phnom Penh Cambodia
Salary: USD $1000 $1500

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Chief Accountant to oversee the full accounting operations of our hospitality business. The role requires strong knowledge in financial management Cambodian tax compliance and experience within hotels resorts or related service industries. The ideal candidate has good English communication skills and can work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts (AP AR GL and financial reporting)
• Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with Cambodian tax laws and regulations
• Handle tax filings (VAT withholding tax TOI etc.)
• Oversee daily revenue reporting (room F&B and other income streams)
• Monitor cost control (food cost beverage cost operating expenses)
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities
• Manage cash flow budgeting and financial planning
• Maintain accurate accounting records and internal controls
• Support management with financial analysis and decision-making

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
• Minimum 35 years of experience preferably in hospitality (hotel/resort)
• Strong knowledge of Cambodian tax and accounting standards
• Experience handling full set of accounts independently
• Familiar with hotel systems (e.g. PMS POS) is an advantage
• Good command of English (written and spoken)
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
