Overview

We are seeking an experienced Team Manager / Tech Lead to lead multiple Data Science and AI (GenAI) teams within a dynamic high-impact environment. This role is ideal for a leader passionate about building high-performing teams driving innovation and delivering scalable analytics solutions in a regulated environment.

Your Role

As a Tech Lead you will be responsible for creating an environment where teams take end-to-end ownership of analytics and AI productsfrom ideation to deployment. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders architects and other tech leads to deliver impactful secure and scalable solutions.

You are a proactive leader who thrives in Agile environments understands risk and compliance requirements and is passionate about developing people and teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage 57 cross-functional teams (3050 indirect/direct reports)
• Recruit mentor and retain top technical talent
• Foster a high-performance collaborative culture
• Drive end-to-end ownership of analytics and AI product delivery
• Ensure scalable secure and high-quality software delivery processes
• Promote Agile Scrum DevOps and engineering best practices
• Manage risk compliance and security requirements in line with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with compliance and security teams to ensure adherence to frameworks
• Oversee budgets workforce planning and HR-related responsibilities

Your Profile

• 5 years of experience in a similar leadership role within complex IT environments
• Strong experience in Data Science Analytics or AI product delivery
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and empower teams
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and quality assurance
• Experience hiring and developing technical talent
• Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum and DevOps practices
• Experience with GenAI technologies (hands-on and strategic level)
• Familiarity with risk compliance and regulatory environments
• Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch
• Strong organizational skills with experience managing budget risk and HR topics

• Experience with MLOps environments
• Background in banking or highly regulated industries
