Purpose/ Objective of the Role:
The Aquatics Facility is seeking a reliable and motivated student to assist with daily operations maintenance and safety of the
aquatics center. This role is ideal for students who are comfortable in aquatic environments and have an interest in facility
upkeep and water quality management.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the facility
- Assist with pool vacuuming and general pool upkeep
- Monitor and help maintain proper water chemistry levels
- Support opening and closing procedures of the facility
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
- Provide general assistance to staff and patrons as needed
Qualifications/Skills:
- Must be a current Ohio Wesleyan University student
- Ability to swim comfortably and confidently- 500 yards easily
- Prior maintenance experience preferred
- Knowledge of water chemistry and pool systems strongly preferred
- Experience using pool vacuums and related equipment
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
