TIDE part of the Anglian Water Group supports a portfolio of innovative businesses operating in dynamic markets. Were looking for an IT Support Engineer to play a key role in maintaining reliable high-performing technology across our sites.

In this role youll take ownership of day-to-day IT operations leading the help desk function and ensuring our network systems run efficiently and effectively. Youll be a vital link in keeping the business connected providing hands-on support and resolving technical issues.

Youll also manage asset registers and support the testing and rollout of new applications and systems contributing to the continuous improvement of our IT services.

What will you be doing

In this role youll be responsible for supporting and maintaining IT infrastructure and applications acting as a key point of contact for day-to-day technical issues across the business. Youll manage the IT and application helpdesk ensuring users receive timely support issues are resolved or escalated appropriately and performance is effectively monitored and communicated.

Youll also play a part in testing and evaluating new systems software updates and fixes to ensure quality standards are met. Alongside this youll maintain accurate asset tracking and ensure appropriate stock levels of IT equipment and consumables are in place.

What does it take to be an IT Support Engineer at TIDE

Were seeking someone with at least one years experience in a similar IT support role ideally within a helpdesk environment. Youll have a strong working knowledge of Windows desktop and server operating systems Microsoft Office applications and experience administering Office 365 and Azure services. Familiarity with software testing principles would be an advantage.

Youll be highly organised able to manage your time effectively and prioritise tasks using your own initiative. Strong communication skills are essential with the ability to explain technical information clearly both over the phone and face-to-face. Youll also bring excellent problem-solving abilities and be confident producing clear accurate documentation.
