AtSimCorp wefacilitatethe streamlining of investments accounting and operations for major global financial institutions. We do this through IT systems processes and financial knowledge. Implementing our software by way of high-quality projects is at the core of what we do. To introduce our software to our clients business consultants are essential to us.

In the role of Lead Business Consultant specializing in Data Management and Data Integration your participation will be instrumental in the expansion of our market unit and in advancing the outcomes of our clients projects.

You will normally be working full-time on implementation projects which require your specialexpertisein Data Management and Data Integration and you willbe responsible forall aspects of theprojectstream.You will act as an important sparring partner for your clients and effectivelymonitor coordinate andescalate issues as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Responsibility for major parts ofSimCorpOne implementationprojects: You know the customer requirements and processes related to Investment Operations at banks asset managers and insurers and outline solutions foroptimaluse ofSimCorpOne

• Close cooperation with the project manager and key role in developing projects to success

• Gain understanding of Simcorps Global Standard Solutions andutilizethem for project delivery

• Key contact for our customers for all questions in connection withSimCorpOne

• Instruct and mentor less experienced colleagues on the job

• Contribute to improving best practices for implementation processes and promote topics across projects

• Activelyparticipateinknow-howexchange with colleagues on an international level

WHAT WE VALUE

• Previousexperienceas an(Implementation) Consultant for asset managers asset ownersbanksor consulting firms

• Excellentknow-howin at least two of the following areas:

• Enterprise Data Management

• Data Integration architecturepatternsand standards

• WS* REST API JSON

• XMLXSLTand other scripting languages like Phyton

• Relational Databases: Oracle SQLServerand/or ETL tools

• C# or any other object-oriented language

• Testing. E.g. Test-Driven Development agile testing test automation test methodologies

• System performance improvements

• Continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)

• Experience working on software implementation projects in the financial industry.

• Degree within Physics/Mathematics/Science/Engineering/Economics or Computer Science (advanced degree preferred)

• Self-starter with a can-do mindset

• Ability to manage assigned tasks and deliver the results on time

• Have Excellent communication skills andproficiencyin English both oral and written

• Basic understanding of financial industry/products and related workflows

• Hands-on experience withSimCorpOneis a plus

• Ability to travel to clients site

For Toronto only:The salary range for this position is$115040 - $172560 CAD.

Base pay may vary based on factors such as years of experienceskillsand qualifications. Additionally employees are eligiblefor an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including health and dental care timeoffand Group RRSP/TFSA.
