Job Summary
Overview
Element has an opportunity for an Order Entry & Distribution Technician (2nd Shift)to perform order entry of incoming test requests and other scheduled tasks under direction of Office Manager or detailed procedures. Perform technical review of client POs to ensure compliance.
Preferred schedule: 40 hours in 4 days (10-hour days) beginning at Noon Wednesday thru Saturday
Salary: $21- $32/hr DOE
Responsibilities
Receive incoming shipments & assist with Remnant material management customer pickup and return of samples
Review customer Purchase Orders and enter work orders into the Labman system
Verify that orders received include all necessary paperwork to allow for proper testing of samples
Contact customers over PO discrepancies or to obtain additional test detail
Manage all remnant materials
Distribute entered sample/material to required processing departments
Other duties as assigned by supervisor or lab management
Skills / Qualifications
To perform this position successfully an individual must be a team player and ability to partner with other team members
Experience with Excel to include data entry formatting and simple formulas
The ability to lift 10 to 30 pounds frequently
Will need to drive a forklift and adhere to safety standards
Self-starter & self-accountability is a must
Relevant experience in logistics customer service or a materials testing or manufacturing environment desired
This position requires access to export-controlled commodities technical data technology software and services. U.S. citizenship U.S. legal permanent resident status protected person status under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon the employer obtaining the necessary export authorization including if required an export license from the U.S. Department of Commerces Bureau of Industry and Security the U.S. Department of States Office of Defense Trade Controls or other applicable government agency.
