Our client runs a small childrens residential home providing care and support for young people with a range of needs. Backed by a strong management support structure this is a home where the Registered Manager is set up to succeed - with the resources guidance and team around them to lead with confidence and truly make a difference to the lives of the children in their care.
They are now looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to take the helm and drive outstanding outcomes for their young people.

What Our Client Is Looking For
Minimum 3 years experience in a similar childrens residential environment at a senior level essential
Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young Peoples Workforce essential
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children and Young Peoples Management) achieved or actively working towards
Strong working knowledge of The Children Act 1989 Childrens Home Regulations and safeguarding procedures
Proven experience managing budgets within a residential setting
Full clean driving licence essential
Ability to work flexibly and carry out on-call duties as required
A genuine unwavering commitment to achieving the best outcomes for children and young people
Key Responsibilities
Taking full responsibility for the leadership management and day-to-day running of the home
Ensuring compliance with Childrens Home Regulations The Children Act 1989 and all relevant safeguarding legislation
Leading supporting and developing a dedicated staff team with a shared commitment to the children
Managing the homes budget and overseeing financial performance
Acting as Registered Manager with Ofsted managing inspections and regulatory requirements
Safeguarding all young people in line with current legislation and best practice
Building effective relationships with local authorities families and multi-agency professionals
Carrying out on-call duties and working flexibly to meet the needs of the home
