The position

The Sanitation Technicianis responsible for executing daily and scheduled cleaning and sanitation activities across production warehouse and common areas to support a safe clean and compliant manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role that also provides flexibility to support production activities as required based on operational needs.

This is a permanent part-time position working Sunday through Thursday from 5:00pm - 10:00pm at our Workshop in Canmore Alberta.

What youll be doing

• Perform routine and deep cleaning of production rooms equipment exteriors tools floors drains walls and common areas
• Follow established sanitation schedules cleaning instructions and safety procedures
• Use approved cleaning chemicals and tools safely and correctly
• Complete basic sanitation checklists and logs accurately and on time
• Support sanitation activities during product changeovers shutdowns and special cleaning events
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) safety and hygiene requirements
• Report sanitation safety or facility concerns
• Assist with production tasks when sanitation workload allows including material handling packing labeling and staging

Does this sound like you

• Previous experience in sanitation cleaning manufacturing food or cosmetics is an asset but not required
• Ability to follow instructions procedures schedules and safety protocols with consistency
• Commitment to following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) hygiene and workplace safety requirements
• Comfortable performing physical work including standing lifting bending and repetitive tasks
• Willingness to learn new processes receive feedback and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively
