Accounting Clerk (Entry-Level)

Schedule: MonFri 7:30 AM 4:00 PM (Note: Occasional Saturdays required during month-end closing)

Pay: $24.00$26.00 per hour

About the Role Are you detail-oriented organized and ready to launch your career in finance We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Accounting Clerk to join our growing home services team in Renton.

You will be the backbone of our financial operations ensuring accurate billing timely payments and precise job costing for our electricians HVAC techs and plumbers.

No prior home services experience No problem. We provide comprehensive training on industry practices like job costing and field billing. We just need a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic!

What Youll Do You will bridge the gap between our field operations and our financial health. Your daily responsibilities include:

• Accounts Receivable: Review invoices for completed service calls process payments and resolve billing inquiries.
• Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices for parts/materials verify receipts and prepare payments.
• Job Costing Support: Assign material costs to specific job numbers to track project profitability.
• Data Management: Maintain accurate records in Sage Intacct and ServiceTitan.
• Reconciliation: Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
• Month-End Closing: Support the finance team during close (occasional Saturdays may be required).
• General Admin: Handle filing data entry and ad-hoc reporting.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (Required)
• Associates Degree in Accounting/Business (A plus but strong transferable skills count too!)
