SUMMARY

This position is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction with on-time delivery requirements by providing assembly operations per standard work procedures and within the required tact time. Responsible for performing assembly or non-CNC operations according to Standard Work Documentation Manufacturing Instructions and Quality Plans in the cell.

Assembles ball nuts operates small hand tools for debur operation engraver as needed to complete operations. May use saws straightener buffer and overhead hoist. Daily communication with the team and other facilities is required. Comply with all environmental health and safety regulations. The work area must comply with 5S requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Ability to read follow and understand prints MIs and QPs to accomplish the assigned task.

• Required to exhibit the ability to read and follow work instructions both written and verbal.

• Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of work situations.

• Use of inspection equipment to include but not limited to: Micrometers pitch micrometers indicator micrometers calipers indicators thread gauges length gages and tape measures

• The ability to perform basic math calculations including addition subtraction multiplication and division.

• Must be able to compute rate ratio and percent to draw and interpret bar graphs.

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

• The ability to work long periods standing up; lift and manipulate heavy loads (up to 60 lbs);

• Must be willing to work overtime which may include occasional weekends.

Expected Hourly Rate: $18.00
