Automotive Service & Parts Assistant

Jones GMC in Lancaster PA is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Automotive Service & Parts Assistant to support our service and parts departments. This position plays a key role in delivering a positive customer experience while helping keep our service drive operating efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people stays organized and is interested in growing their knowledge within a dealership environment.

ScheduleAvaliability

• MondayFriday: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
• 30-minute unpaid lunch
• One Saturday per month
• No evenings

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and schedule service appointments
• Greet customers and provide a professional front-desk experience
• Assist with cashiering and basic service paperwork
• Perform local customer shuttle runs if needed
• Support daily administrative tasks within the service department
• Learn basic parts operations over time to assist with coverage as needed
• Maintain a clean organized service reception area

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dealership environment
• Basic computer skills (appointment scheduling email dealership software)
• Previous automotive dealership or service experience is a plus but not required
• Willingness to learn and grow within the service and parts departments
