Facility Technician II

The Facilities Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of duties to maintain repair and improve the physical infrastructure of the facility. This role involves hands-on maintenance across multiple disciplines including electrical plumbing HVAC carpentry and general repairs to ensure a safe clean and functional work Responsibilities:Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs and perform repairs / upgrades as preventive maintenance tasks on HVAC systems plumbing lighting and electrical minor building repairs including electrical plumbing painting fixture mounting / exchanging drywall repairs promptly to maintenance requests service tickets and emergency install or repair furniture equipment and that building systems are operating efficiently and comply with safety with contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance or accurate records of maintenance activities and work all tools and equipment are in good working with office moves furniture relocations and space clean and organized mechanical rooms storage areas and common all safety procedures and guidelines in daily :High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications in HVAC electrical or plumbing is a plus.2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or related mechanical electrical and troubleshooting to read and interpret blueprints schematics and equipment with safety standards (OSHA building codes etc.).Proficient in using hand tools power tools and basic diagnostic communication and time management ability to lift up to 50 lbs climb ladders and perform manual labor as Qualifications:EPA 608 Certification (for HVAC roles)Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS)Work Environment:Work is performed both indoors and involve working in noisy dirty or hot/cold require occasional evening or weekend work depending on operational needs. CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) experienceWe offer market competitive compensation. Potential salary range for this role is $22.95-$25.36. Actual pay will be determined based on experience qualifications geographic location and other job-related factors permitted by law.
