Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Audit Execution & Facilitation

• Audit Readiness: Support the Manager in ensuring the General Ledger (GL) and trial balance are audit-ready by performing monthly reconciliations and hygiene checks.

• Primary Liaison: Act as the first point of contact for statutory internal and tax auditors. Handle ground-level queries and escalate complex issues to the Manager with proposed solutions.

• Documentation: Prepare comprehensive audit schedules lead sheets and supporting workpapers (as per IndAS) for the Managers review before submission to auditors.

• Due Diligence Support: Assist the Manager in setting up and maintaining Virtual Data Rooms (VDR) for due diligence exercises ensuring all financial documents are indexed and accurate.

2. Investor Support & Data Management

• Data Preparation: Assist the Manager in fulfilling routine and ad-hoc financial data requests from investors ensuring 100% accuracy and consistency with reported financials.

• Reporting Support: Prepare first drafts of monthly investor reporting decks and quarterly business reviews for the Managers final sign-off.

• Query Tracking: Maintain an Investor Query Tracker to ensure all stakeholder requests are addressed within the stipulated Turnaround Time (TAT).

Requirements:

• Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (Mandatory).

• Background: Minimum 2-3 years of post-qualification experience with a significant stint at a Big 4 (Deloitte PwC EY KPMG).

• Technical Excellence: Deep understanding of accounting standards tax laws and financial statement preparation.

• Advanced Excel: Ability to handle large datasets create automated templates and use complex formulas/lookups for cost analysis.

• Growth Mindset: A candidate who is eager to transition from auditing a business to building one by supporting the Finance Manager.
