Werenow looking for an experienced Stakeholder Engagement Manager to lead engagement for thishighprofileand sensitive scheme.
Whatyoullbe doing
In this pivotal roleyoulllead theendtoendstatutory andnonstatutorystakeholder engagement strategy for the Advanced Water Reuse project.Youllwork at the heart of the programme shapingperceptions buildingtrustand supporting the consents needed to enable successful delivery.
Youll:
Lead the stakeholder engagement and consultation strategy to support planning consent under the Town & Country Planning Act includingEIArelatedengagement
Act as a senior representative for Anglian Water with local authorities MPs councillors regulatorslandownersand community groups
Deliver clearinclusiveand transparent engagement to help communities understand and have confidence in water reuse
Providestakeholder insight risk intelligence and advice to senior leaders and programme teams
Manage issues and complaints sensitively and effectively protecting Anglian Waters reputation
Leadcoachand develop a small stakeholder engagement team settinghigh standardsand building capability
Whatyoullbring
Werelooking for someone who is confidentcredibleand calm under pressure with experience engaging on complex infrastructure projects.Youllbring:
Significant experienceleading stakeholder and community engagement for major infrastructure schemes ideally in regulated sectors
A strong understanding of the UK planning environment including TCPA and EIA processes
Experience engaging on sensitive or controversial issues building trust through transparency and clear communication
The ability to explain complex technical or environmental information in an accessible way
Strongrelationshipbuildingskills with politiciansregulatorsand communities
