The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments ensuring accurate and timely processing. This role involves coordinating with various departments managing inventory and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Please note that this is a 6 month contract position with the possibility of extention based on Operational Needs

What you will be responsible for:

Sign Assembly and Quality Assurance:

• Prepare assemble and fasten signs according to outlined specifications
• Perform quality assurance steps that confirm the contents of each order

Inventory Management:

• Assist road technicians with loading/unloading vehicles and keeping track of sales and rental inventory
• Purchase orders for inventory

Shipping and Receiving:

• Manage shipping and receiving orders ensuring accurate and timely processing
• Responsible for customer pick up
• Login into different software such as Zoho and using different shipping carriers such as Freightcom

Communication and Customer Service:

• Communicate effectively clearly and professionally with co-workers and clients
• Deliver exceptional customer service

What we need from you:

• Highschool diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class G Drivers License with a clean drivers abstract
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and have good physical stamina
• Strong attention to details
• Great organization skills
• Strong problem solving skills
• Ensures Accountability: Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments
• Situational Adaptability: Adapting approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations
• Customer Focus: Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions
• Communicates Effectively: Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
• Tech Savvy: Anticipating and adopting innovations in business-building digital and technology application.

When will you be working:

• Generally 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm or as determined based on Operational Needs
