Job Description:
Administrative Responsibilities:
Provide program leadership vision and direction to achieve statewide impact.
Develop and manage budgets staffing contracts and program reporting.
Supervise program staff provide mentorship and foster professional development.
Travel and program development:
Coordinate statewide diabetes screening and outreach activities in collaboration with UF faculty state agencies and community organizations.
Build and maintain strategic partnerships across academic clinical governmental and community settings.
Direct the design implementation and evaluation of technology-enabled diabetes education and management initiatives.
Data management and research development:
Support development and oversight of diabetes tissue biobanking operations.
Collect analyze and report program outcomes for UF leadership the Florida Legislature and funding agencies.
Expected Salary:
$63000 - $70000 annually; commensurate within this range based on qualifications and experience
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in nursing public health health administration biomedical sciences or a closely related field.
Demonstrated leadership organizational and communication skills.
PhD Master of Nursing Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or active nursing license (ARNP or equivalent).
Experience in diabetes prevention management or research.
Familiarity with continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) health technology applications or artificial intelligence in healthcare.
Proven success in managing large-scale multi-stakeholder initiatives and budgets.
Track record of partnership development and cross-sector collaboration.
