The Team
The vision of Global Financial & Accounting Services (GFAS) is to provide innovative and scalable global business solutions in accounting tax payroll treasury procurement and financial operations while safeguarding the reputation of the foundation and our related entities with the highest standards of integrity and operational excellence.GFAS is a division within the Finance organization at the foundation and an important part of the operations function. Operations supports and enables the six program teams to make investments and to run effectively and efficiently. As a function Finance employs approximately 200 FTEs. The GFAS division is significant (50 FTEs) and responsible for financial reporting processes technical and advisory services internal controls vendor due diligence and the accounting functions at the foundation.
Your Role
As the Senior Treasury Manager this role focuses on enhancing the foundations treasury operations focusing on systems integration cash positioning and forecasting internal controls and cross-functional collaboration. You will play a key role in ensuring the foundations financial efficiency and effectiveness through the management of treasury systems banking operations and strategic addition you will provide training and support to regional offices and subsidiaries ensuring alignment with global treasury policies and practices. This role requires a blend of technical expertise strategic thinking and leadership skills to drive operational improvements and deliver impactful results. This is an individual contributor role reporting directly to the Deputy Director Global Treasury & Payment Solutions.
What Youll Do
Treasury Operations Management:
Oversee daily treasury operations including cash management short-term investments and payment processing.
Manage cash positioning and forecasting processes ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational needs.
Supervise bank account management including opening and closing accounts KYC documentation user access and maintaining data integrity.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements for treasury functions.
Systems Integration and Technology:
Maturing our integrations and treasury management systems (e.g. Kyriba) enhancing workflow efficiency and data reporting.
Leverage AI and other emerging technologies to optimize cash forecasting reduce manual tasks and improve decision-making.
Collaborate with IT and external vendors to implement and maintain scalable treasury technology solutions.
Training and Affiliate/ Regional Support:
Provide training and guidance to regional offices and subsidiaries on treasury systems policies and processes ensuring clear and effective communication across diverse cultural and operational contexts.
Act as a point of contact for affiliates and regional teams addressing queries and ensuring compliance with global strategies and local regulations.
Develop training materials toolkits and best practices to empower regional teams and enhance their treasury capabilities
Strategic Collaboration:
Partner with teams to drive strategic improvements in treasury activities ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Act as a subject matter expert in treasury processes offering insights and recommendations for operational and financial improvements.
Collaborate on cross-functional projects with key partners such as Legal Payroll Financial Planning and Analysis IT and other teams to support broader organizational initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate closely with internal teams including regional office and subsidiary teams to address treasury-related needs and resolve issues.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture by modeling effective communication raising concerns proactively and supporting team members.
Your Experience
Bachelors degree in accounting finance or a related field. Advanced degree or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification preferred.
7 years proven experience in cash forecasting bank relationship management and regulatory compliance in a treasury or finance-related role.
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in treasury management systems such as Kyriba or similar platforms and systems integration to enhance operational efficiency and reporting.
Experience managing stock donations including evaluating and processing contributions coordinating liquidation or holding strategies and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Understanding of investment-related activities such as short-term investments portfolio management and aligning strategies with organizational financial objectives.
Knowledge of key banking processes such as KYC bank account management and regulatory compliance requirements.
Expertise in cash positioning forecasting payment strategies and internal controls.
Familiarity with AI and automation tools to optimize treasury workflows and improve forecasting.
Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage external partners/vendors.
Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex financial issues develop actionable recommendations and implement solutions effectively.
Collaboration and Communication: Skilled in building relationships across departments and communicating complex financial concepts to diverse audiences including leadership and regional teams.
Training and Support: Experience in providing training and support to regional offices and subsidiaries ensuring compliance with global strategies and enhancing local treasury capabilities.
Adaptability and Innovation: Proficiency in applying emerging technologies such as AI and machine learning to treasury and financial management processes.

The salary range for this role is $173000 to $259600 USD. We recognize high-wage market differences in Seattle and Washington D.C. where our offices are located. The range for this role in these locations is $190300 to $285500 USD. As a mission-driven organization we strive to balance competitive pay with our mission. New hires salaries are typically between the range minimum and the salary range midpoint. Actual placement in the range will depend on a candidates job-related skills experience and expertise as evaluated during the interview process.
