INVESTMENT BANKING

Investment banking works on some of the most complex financial challenges and transactions in the market today. Whether advising on a merger providing financial solutions for an acquisition or structuring an initial public offering we handle projects that help clients at major milestones. We work with corporations pension funds financial sponsors and governments and are team of strong analytical thinkers who have a passion for producing out-of-the-box ideas.

TEAM OVERVIEW

The Global Healthcare group advises clients across a broad range of healthcare sub-sectors including Biotechnology Diagnostics/Life Sciences Healthcare Information Technology Healthcare Services Medical Devices and Pharmaceuticals.

With professionals in offices around the world the group provides the full suite of investment banking services including mergers and acquisitions divestitures equity and debt financings financial restructurings and risk management.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Vice President you will help originate and deepen client relationships lead day-to-day deal execution and manage teams to deliver high-quality analysis and materials. You will structure and execute transactions across M&A and capital markets serving as a trusted client advisor and mentor to junior team members.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Education & Experience

  • Masters degree with 4 years of investment banking experience or bachelors degree with 7 years of investment banking (or equivalent) experience
  • History of outstanding academic and professional achievement
  • Healthcare Expertise
  • Healthcare sector expertise across one or more of the following: Biotechnology Diagnostics/Life Sciences Healthcare Information Technology Healthcare Services Medical Devices and Pharmaceuticals

TRANSACTION EXECUTION

  • Demonstrated experience executing buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions as well as equity and debt financings
  • Strong track record of leading the end-to-end execution of M&A and financing transactions in an advisory role including drafting client materials and managing diligence valuation and process workstreams

LEADERSHIP

  • 2 years of experience leading deal teams of analysts and associates; proven ability to coach develop and motivate junior talent

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with comfort presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Strong work ethic high motivation and exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Personal integrity sound judgment initiative and leadership
  • Ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and serve as a reliable point of contact

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York New York United States-based position is $250000-$300000. In addition you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
