Hourly Pay Range:
$33.96 - $52.64 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidates expertise and years of experience among other factors.Position Highlights:
Position: Registered Nurse Medical Group - Urology
Location: Arlington Heights IL
Full Time: 40 hours / Weekly
Hours: Monday - Friday varies 7:30am - 4:00pm or 8:30am - 5:00pm.
What you will do:
Under the direction of the Supervisor the Triage Nurse is a Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for patient care needs through the use of inbound and outbound telephone Triage Nurse continuously demonstrates positive customer relationship skills by assessing caller needs through active listening clinical assessment education and advanced problem-solving Triage Nurse will actively manage patients immediate and ongoing needs with attention to acute and preventative intervention. Duties include:phone triage patient education and injections injectable medication teaching occasional rooming as needed insurance pre-authorization and referrals clean and stock exam rooms.
What you will need:
Required:
Current Illinois RN license
Current CPR for Healthcare Providers through American Heart Association (AHA)
Self-starter able to handle periods of high stress
Prolonged periods of standing/walking/sitting/bending/reaching/climbing and repetitive use of hands
Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and carry/push up to 20 lbs.
Able to effectively communicate in English both written & verbal
Flexible to scheduling changes including overtime evening and Saturday rotation
Preferred:
Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Office RN experience
